Chongqing Normal University was founded in 1954. Its history can be traced back to the official Chuandong normal school founded in 1906. Located in Chongqing, a famous historical and cultural city, the university has a campus area of 2804 mu, including the University City Campus, Shapingba campus and Beibei campus.
