Huaibei vocational and technical college is a public full-time college approved by the Ministry of education in July 1999. It is a model higher vocational college in Anhui Province. The college has a strong strength in running a school. It has held junior college and vocational education for more than 40 years. Among them, higher vocational and technical education is the main one, while secondary vocational and technical education, vocational and technical training, adult higher education and radio and television distance education are also carried out. In 2002, the Ministry of education and the Ministry of Finance identified it as a national demonstration key construction unit of higher vocational education. At present, higher vocational education has departments of mechanical and electrical engineering, medicine, computer science and technology, finance and economics, architectural engineering, electronic information engineering, tourism management, arts and crafts, and basic education. The college is located in Huaibei City, Anhui Province, a national civilized and healthy city, covering an area of more than 1300 mu. There are 490 full-time teachers, including 22 professors, 211 deputy senior titles, more than 260 part-time teachers and 48 specially appointed professors and experts. There are 48 distinguished guests, part-time professors and famous experts. The college has a modern teaching and training building with a construction area of 560000 square meters. The library and reference room of 19957 square meters has a collection of 580000 books, more than 900 kinds of newspapers and magazines, and an electronic reading room with more than 5000 kinds of electronic publications. The college has complete teaching facilities and 68 training rooms. It has modern manufacturing technology training center (including five workshops of metalworking, data control processing center, digital center, mold center and CAD design), medical and nursing technology training center, construction engineering technology training center, computer network and multimedia training center, clothing design and processing training center, etc. There are thousands of teaching instruments and equipment, providing students with the most advanced vocational skills training base. More than 140 professional practice and training bases have been established outside the school to fully meet the needs of students' post practice. The college is jointly run by Jeju Tourism University of South Korea and awarded the diploma recognized by the two countries. Guided by the social demand and employment market, the college takes the quality of personnel training and employment ability as the lifeline, deepens the "first leader project" of graduates' employment work, and establishes a long-term mechanism for graduates' employment work. We will provide one-stop service for students' internship, vocational skills training, vocational skills appraisal, employment and entrepreneurship education and employment recommendation. The college has 31 national, provincial and industrial vocational skill appraisal institutes (stations), and has carried out vocational skill training and appraisal for 46 types of work (projects). Huaibei municipal government also subsidizes 1000 yuan per year for Huaibei students.
