Xinjiang Construction Vocational and technical college is a provincial state-run full-time higher vocational college established with the approval of the people's Government of the autonomous region and registered in the Ministry of education of the people's Republic of China to cultivate advanced technical application-oriented talents of modern construction. After graduation, the students will be awarded the diploma of electronic registration issued by the Ministry of education of the people's Republic of China. The college is located in Urumqi, the capital of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. The college is a construction professional higher vocational college, which is formed by the merger of Xinjiang Construction Vocational University, Xinjiang Construction Engineering School, Xinjiang urban construction school and Xinjiang building materials school. It is a training base for construction skilled talents approved by the Ministry of construction and the Ministry of education of the people's Republic of China. It is also a training base for Construction Engineering in the autonomous region and a training base for earthquake resistant and comfortable housing talents in the autonomous region And the 18th National vocational skill appraisal station. In more than 30 years of school running history, it has trained a large number of construction professional technical and management talents for Xinjiang's economic construction. 2、 Achievements of education and teaching reform
(1) Teaching reform 1. Specialty construction at present, there are 24 specialties in higher vocational colleges. After many years of construction, two characteristic specialties of "construction engineering technology" and "construction equipment engineering technology" have been built; three key specialties of "construction engineering technology", "construction equipment engineering technology" and "engineering cost" have been built; 11 excellent courses of autonomous region (province) level have been built, There are 23 excellent courses. 2. According to the characteristics of Xinjiang in the earthquake prone area, the Civil Engineering Department of curriculum construction college took the construction of "building anti-seismic" excellent course of key professional construction engineering technology as the breakthrough point in 2004, combined with the earthquake resistant and comfortable housing project of the autonomous region, and built the excellent course of the Autonomous Region in 2006. The college takes the cultivation of professional ability as the main line to construct the curriculum and teaching content system, and comprehensively revises the teaching syllabus of the theory and practice courses of various majors, so as to highlight the vocational pertinence and applicability of the teaching plan, curriculum system and teaching content. As of May 2007, six excellent courses have been completed, including construction engineering survey, engineering cost pricing and control, and architectural CAD. Among them, the course of construction organization design was rated as provincial excellent course by the autonomous region in June 2007. Teachers of teaching material construction college actively participate in the construction of teaching materials. There are 71 published teaching materials and 5 school-based teaching materials. In the "Eleventh Five Year Plan" teaching materials of higher education of the Ministry of education, "installation of building water supply and drainage system" is the only selected topic teaching material of Xinjiang Higher Vocational Colleges. The published teaching materials include: textbooks, teaching reference books, auxiliary teaching materials, vocational education training materials, training manuals and other types, which are widely used in construction and related higher vocational colleges throughout the country and are generally praised. Through the construction of teaching materials, the enthusiasm of college teachers to learn new knowledge is greatly promoted, and the knowledge level and knowledge structure of teachers are improved. 4. At present, the college has 30 experimental training rooms, with a building area of 6192 square meters. The total price of equipment is 11.44748 million yuan. The total number of equipment is 1584, and the number of large equipment is 14. More than 60 off campus training bases have been established in cooperation with enterprises. In 2009, the college launched the second round of "work process oriented" teaching reform, realized the 1:1 ratio of practical teaching and theoretical teaching of 24 majors and half a year of post practice, and constructed a curriculum system consisting of two teaching systems: practical ability training and basic theoretical knowledge, which conforms to the law of higher vocational education, and standardized the teaching plans and teaching documents of each major. In the teaching reform, we have innovated the talent training mode of "work study combination and strengthening ability" for the construction engineering technology major, "work study combination and progressive skills" for the construction equipment engineering technology major, "budget main line and spiral promotion" for the engineering cost major. The reserve technician class of construction engineering technology specialty, combined with the characteristics of Xinjiang Construction Engineering, explores the talent training mode of "part-time work, part-time study, winter study and summer training". The college has nine teaching departments and departments with 315 full-time and part-time teachers, including 259 full-time teachers and 56 part-time teachers. The regulations on the management of teachers' registered qualifications have been formulated to encourage teachers to participate in the examination and evaluation of registered qualifications and professional qualifications, and give strong support from the aspects of funds, training time and training conditions; strengthen the construction of the system for teachers to practice in enterprises, arrange professional courses and professional basic courses in a planned way, and encourage teachers to get familiar with the application of technology in relevant enterprises; and encourage professional courses Teachers undertake horizontal projects and engage in scientific research and technology development; in order to improve the quality of professional teachers, teachers of professional courses and professional basic courses who enter the teaching team after 2002 must go to the enterprise for professional practice for no less than half a year, which is a necessary condition for assessment and professional title evaluation; employ professional and technical personnel and technicians with practical experience in the enterprise Practice teaching is carried out in our college.
