Heilongjiang art vocational college

Heilongjiang art vocational college is the only state-run full-time comprehensive art vocational college in Heilongjiang Province. It is a national key art college assessed by the Ministry of education. Founded in 1959, the college was formerly known as Heilongjiang opera school and renamed as Heilongjiang art school in 1972. In 2002, with the approval of the people's Government of Heilongjiang Province, Heilongjiang art vocational college was established by merging with Heilongjiang literature and art cadre school.

With clear objectives and distinctive characteristics, the college mainly focuses on higher art vocational education, supplemented by secondary art vocational education and adult art education and training, and enrolls students nationwide. The college has two campuses, the main campus is located at 149 Hexing Road, Nangang District, Harbin City, and the sub campus is located at 21 Zhongxing Street, Nangang District, Harbin City, covering a total area of 160 mu. At present, there are more than 1600 college students, more than 200 full-time teachers and nearly 80 teachers with senior titles.

In the course of running the school, famous teachers gathered and great masters taught in person: Qiao Liang, an old artist and educator, and Yang Boya all taught at school; Ying Zhiguo, Qu Fengjun, Liu Bingge, Sun Yue and other artists are now distinguished professors of our college. With a 50 year history, the college has cultivated a large number of famous performing artists, playwrights and stars in the whole province and even the whole country, such as Xing Meizhu, Bai Shuxian, Mou Xuanfu, Liu Hegang, Yu Naijiu, Liu Jia, sun Ning, Cui Bo, Tang Wenjuan, Xue Suli, Li Lifu, Wang Mingxi, Wu tuanliang and Lin Jianqun. The college now has eight departments of dance, drama, film and television, media, vocal music, folk music, orchestra, pop music and art design. It has set up dance performance, dance director, drama performance, film and television performance, music performance, hosting and broadcasting, TV program production, photography and video technology, news gathering and production, stage art design, computer art design, decoration art design and advertising With exhibition, film and television animation, art design (fashion design and performance) and other 15 majors, including dance performance and music performance as provincial key majors.

The college has excellent teaching environment and perfect teaching facilities, with standardized piano room, multimedia classroom, multimedia studio, reading room, electronic classroom, art archive room, experimental practice theater, large and medium-sized dance rehearsal room, computer art design room, stage lighting laboratory, music ensemble room and other teaching and practice places. Now we are planning to build a recording studio and animation studio, whose hardware construction can be rated as first-class in the national art colleges.
