Shaanxi Youth Vocational College is a public college approved by the people's Government of Shaanxi Province and registered by the Ministry of education. It is located in Xi'an, a famous historical and cultural city. It has two brands and one set of institutions with Shaanxi Youth League school. It not only holds higher vocational education, but also undertakes the education and training tasks of Shaanxi Communist Youth League cadres and other youth workers.

The college is developed from Shaanxi League school founded in 1952. In 1984, on the basis of short-term training for League cadres, college education was officially held; in 1988, Shaanxi Youth Cadre College was founded; in 1994, Shaanxi Youth Management Cadre College was renamed as an independent adult college, while retaining the nature, task and name of Shaanxi League school; Adhering to the fine tradition and cultural connotation of the Communist Youth League colleges and universities, and adapting to the needs of the economic and social development in the new era for high-quality technical and skilled talents, the independent higher vocational education was held in 2003, and Shaanxi Youth Vocational College was officially established in 2005.

Since its establishment for more than 60 years, the college has always taken moral education as its fundamental task. At present, the college has two campuses: Hanguang and Qinghua. Hanguang campus is located in the center of Xi'an City, adjacent to the ancient city wall of Ming Dynasty, with a long history, profound heritage, exquisite and elegant; Qinghua campus is located in Chang'an District of Xi'an City, close to the north foot of the North-South dividing line Qinling Mountains, with elegant environment, picturesque scenery, quiet and comfortable.
