Shunhua energy College of Liaoning Petrochemical University (formerly Shunhua College of Liaoning Petrochemical University) is located in Fushun City, Liaoning Province. Fushun is one of the national old industrial bases, known as the "coal capital". After more than half a century of construction, it has developed from a single coal industrial city into an important energy and raw material base in the country and a modern industrial city dominated by petrochemical industry with complete categories, which has made a historic contribution to the industrialization of the Republic. Shunhua energy College of Liaoning University of petroleum and chemical technology is an independent college established with the approval of the Ministry of education of the people's Republic of China. It is reorganized and established by Liaoning University of petroleum and chemical technology, the first petroleum industry school in New China, and Shenyang Research Institute of General Coal Research Institute (former Fushun Branch), the first coal mine safety research institute in New China, according to the new mechanism and new mode.
