Hebei University of science and technology is a key multi-disciplinary backbone University in Hebei Province. In 1996, Hebei Institute of light chemical industry, Hebei Institute of mechanical and electrical engineering and Hebei textile workers University were merged into Hebei University of textile industry in 2002. At present, there are 20308 full-time undergraduates, postgraduates and international students, 2334 teaching staff, including 1319 full-time teachers.
