With a history of 60 years, the college has trained 130000 talents, covering large and medium-sized enterprises and institutions at home and abroad, such as shipping, port, shipbuilding, economy and trade, information, etc.

Strong faculty

At present, there are more than 700 full-time and part-time teachers with a teacher-student ratio of 1:16. Senior titles above associate professor account for more than 30% of full-time teachers; there are more than 150 provincial teaching masters, professional leaders of the Ministry of communications, provincial "Blue Project" training objects, school level teaching masters, academic leaders, professional leaders and young backbone teachers. Double quality teachers account for more than 76% of the total number of full-time teachers, including 9 ocean captains and 11 chief engineers, which is in a leading position in similar colleges and universities.

The college has complete modern teaching infrastructure, and the total value of teaching and scientific research instruments and equipment is over 100 million yuan. There are 91 experimental training bases in the school, including national training base, navigation skill evaluation base, provincial training base, marine engineering skill evaluation base, etc. There are 10 school level training centers and 8 research institutes. In 2012, the Ministry of education and the general staff of the Chinese people's Liberation Army designated our college as the only direct recruiting college for non commissioned officers in Jiangsu Province, recruiting 50 personnel of ship engineering technology, directly entering the military establishment, and working on large-scale modern marine combat platform after graduation.

Graduates can also be selected to continue their undergraduate study in relevant colleges and universities in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Provincial Department of education through the forms of "college to college", "college to college" and "college to college". In 2012, in the pilot project of vocational education system construction reform of Jiangsu Provincial Department of education, the logistics management major of our college and Nanjing Forestry University were trained in stages. I studied in our college for the first three years and Nanjing Forestry University for the second two years. After graduation, I can obtain the College Diploma of our college and the undergraduate diploma and degree of Nanjing Forestry University.
