Xi'an Vocational and technical college is a full-time university approved by the people's Government of Shaanxi Province and registered by the Ministry of education. It is established by the former Xi'an Industrial school, Xi'an Economic and trade school, Xi'an finance and accounting school and Xi'an agricultural school. The college was established in May 2004, approved by the people's Government of Shaanxi Province on September 8, 2004, and officially established on December 26, 2006. The college is in charge of Xi'an Municipal People's government, and its education business is under the management and guidance of Shaanxi Provincial Department of education. With a history of 50 years, the college has trained tens of thousands of managerial and skilled talents for the country, and has a wide influence and good reputation in the society.

The college covers an area of more than 600 mu, with a building area of 120000 square meters.
