Guangdong food and Drug Vocational College is a public full-time ordinary higher vocational college approved by the people's Government of Guangdong Province and registered by the Ministry of education. Historical review
The predecessor of the school is Guangdong traditional Chinese medicine school, which was founded on June 16, 1965. The school is located in saibakou, Guangzhou city. In March 1974, it was moved to Jianglan road and renamed as the first branch of Guangdong Commercial technical school. In September 1979, it was changed into Guangdong medical technical school. In 1983, it was established as Guangdong medical technical secondary school, which runs together with Guangdong medical technical school; In 1984, he moved to Longdong, Tianhe District, Guangzhou, and established Guangdong Medical School in March 1986. The University began to undertake higher education in 1999, and was upgraded to higher vocational college with the approval of Guangdong Provincial People's Government in 2002; it was officially upgraded to Guangdong chemical and pharmaceutical vocational and technical college with the record of the Ministry of education in May 2003; it was renamed to Guangdong food and Drug Vocational and technical college with the record of the Ministry of education in May 2007.
