The police officer college of the Chinese people's Armed Police Force (hereinafter referred to as the Academy) is an ordinary higher education institution directly under the leadership of the armed police force and the only military college in Sichuan Province.

1、 Historical evolution: the history of the Academy of armed police officers can be traced back to the military and Political University of the Southwest Military Region, which was established in February 1950. It has undergone nine changes, including the North Sichuan Branch, the military and political Cadre School of the public security forces of the Southwest Military Region, the armed police training brigade of the Sichuan provincial public security school, the independent division training brigade of the Chengdu Military Region, the people's Armed Police Training brigade of the Sichuan Provincial Public Security Bureau, and the training brigade of the Sichuan Corps Move. In May 1984, the Chengdu Command School of the armed police force was re established on the basis of the former training team of the Sichuan Corps. In 2000, it was renamed Chengdu Command College of the armed police force, which is subordinate to the Sichuan corps of the armed police force. In 2011, the Academy was transformed from a Junior Command College into a joint training college for academic education, and renamed as the armed police officer academy. On July 22, 2017, according to the reorganization order of President Xi, a new Academy of armed police officers was established on the basis of the former Academy of armed police officers, Fuzhou Command College and Guangzhou Command College. It is a higher education institution, mainly responsible for the training tasks of command growth officers of duty unit, mobile unit and traffic unit in the south of the Yangtze River.

2、 Location: the headquarters of the college is located in Shuangliu District, Chengdu City, 18 kilometers away from the center of Chengdu in the north, adjacent to Shuangliu International Airport, and 20 kilometers away from the ancient town Huanglongxi in 2000 in the south. It has been a water and land hub and a military town since ancient times. College training base is located in Baiyun District, Guangzhou city.

3、 Disciplines and specialties: the college has combat command, military big data engineering, command information system engineering, philosophy, law, ideological and political education, Chinese language and literature, journalism and communication, history, mathematics, physics, applied psychology, mechanical engineering, electronic science and technology, computer science and technology, information security, road and bridge and river crossing engineering There are 18 majors in management science and engineering.

4、 Teaching facilities: the college vigorously strengthens the construction of information-based teaching, and the multi-media classroom, ladder classroom, electronic reading room, voice room, computer room, laboratory, lecture hall, training center and non-linear video editing room are fully equipped. In 2002, the campus network of military academies was built and put into operation, realizing the multimedia and networking of teaching. The Library covers an area of more than 5400 square meters, with a collection of more than 200000 paper books, more than 300000 e-books, more than 400 Chinese periodicals and more than 20 newspapers, and a number of reading rooms. We will build a digital library system integrating general resources and characteristic resources. We have domestic mainstream digital resources such as journal papers, dissertations, and excellent courses of famous Chinese and foreign schools. We will build a full-text database of military journals, and the total amount of digital resources reaches 30tb.

5、 Teaching and research:

Since the transformation of the college, it has actively improved the level of teaching and scientific research. It has undertaken more than 20 national level projects such as National Natural Science Foundation of China and National Social Science Foundation of China, 60 military and armed police force level projects, and more than 60 provincial and ministerial level projects, 19 military level teaching and scientific research achievements awards, more than 30 armed police force level awards, and more than 10 provincial and ministerial level awards, published more than 200 monographs and textbooks, and vigorously carried out student innovation In the "National College Students Model United Nations Conference", "National College Students English Debate Competition", "CCTV star of hope English talent competition", "national scientific research aviation model competition", "national college students mathematical modeling competition (MCM)" "national college students electronic design competition", "national wargame deduction competition" and other domestic and foreign college students' innovation competitions, the number of participants and the number of winners The number of awards increased year by year. The "10 + 1" military civilian integration teaching and research mode explored by our institute has created a precedent for military civilian joint school running. It has carried out in-depth cooperation with key universities and scientific research institutes, supported each other in teaching and jointly tackling key problems in scientific research, comprehensively expanded the integration development platform, continuously promoted the connotative development of our institute, and improved the level of school running and scientific research.

6、 Main achievements: since the establishment of the Academy, more than 10000 command and growth cadres have been sent to the army. The "primary command major of the armed police" has been listed as the key construction discipline of the "2110 project" of the whole army. The "tactics of the armed police" has been rated as "100 high-quality courses" of the whole army. More than 40 scientific research achievements and 20 national patents have been awarded. 35 people have won the "Gold Award" and "Silver Award" of military academy education ”。 He has accomplished the tasks of maintaining stability in Tibetan areas on March 14, Wenchuan on May 12, and Lushan on April 20. He has been praised as an advanced unit of earthquake relief by the State Council and the Central Military Commission. Wu Rongchun, one of the "top ten military pacesetters" and Lei Min, Wang Jianguo, and Wang pianpianpian, one of the "top ten loyal guards" of the Chinese armed police force, have emerged. Xue Zhenzhong, Tao Yingqi, two famous teachers of the armed police force, have won the honor of the whole nation Liao Qiwei, one of the 100 "upward and good youth", and other advanced models. The first brigade, second battalion and fourth company of the cadets were commended as "advanced grass-roots party organization" by the CMC and "model company for grass-roots construction" by the armed police force.
