Hebei Academy of fine arts is a full-time ordinary undergraduate fine arts university approved by the Ministry of education. It is one of the nine independent fine arts colleges in China. It is the only provincial professional undergraduate Fine Arts University in Hebei Province. It is also the advanced collective of graduates' employment in Colleges and universities and the advanced unit of entrepreneurship education research and practice in Colleges and universities. In December 2016, it was identified as the construction unit of master's degree award project by the degree committee of Hebei Provincial People's government, and in 2017, it was listed as the pilot unit of the Ministry of culture and the Ministry of education's research and training program for inheritors.

The school now covers an area of 1380 mu, located in Shijiazhuang Airport Industrial Park, the traffic is very convenient. The school has 13 secondary colleges (centers) including plastic arts college, urban design college, Media College, environmental art college, animation college, industrial design college, Fashion College, calligraphy college, sculpture college, cultural and Creative College, International Education College, innovation and Entrepreneurship Education College, and continuing education center. We will continue to strengthen our friendly cooperation with 22 universities and 3 international exchange associations in 12 countries, including Naples Academy of Fine Arts in Italy, Hunan University and Gyeonggi University in South Korea, and Lvov Academy of Fine Arts in Ukraine. The implementation of teaching internationalization strategy lays the foundation for the reform and development of school education.

The North District is dominated by ancient Chinese architecture. The Wenwu Temple of Ming and Qing Dynasties, with columns, beams and purlins as the main components, is decorated with paintings, sculptures and murals to reproduce the solemnity and mystery of ancient temples. The ancestral hall of Laozhuang, which imitates the architecture of Tang Dynasty, integrates the main hall, Gallery Pavilion and screen wall, and reproduces the grand momentum of the architecture of Tang Dynasty. The black tile and white walls and wood carving windows of the library and the ink fragrance building show the elegance and dignity of Huizhou architecture. The waterside pavilion, the corridor and the inscribed tablets carved with the verses of the literati reflect the poetic and picturesque charm of the classical gardens.   

The Southern District is dominated by European architecture. Gothic "Magic Castle group", Romanesque International Art Exhibition Center and Baroque art museum together form European classical gardens to show the style of Western religious art. World bridge art exhibition hall, Castle corridor exhibition hall, octagonal sculpture exhibition hall and more than a dozen other new style exhibition halls have launched western famous sculpture picture exhibition, western famous painting exhibition and other characteristic exhibitions. On the art Empire square, the towering bell tower, elegant arched windows, the statue of victory and the tall Western Knights attract scholars and tourists from home and abroad.

The campus is surrounded by mountains and waters, green grass, Chinese and Western architecture, and the harmony of nature and humanity. It has become an ideal palace for students to learn, create and feel art.   

Integration of entrepreneurship and employment

In order to further promote the employment and Entrepreneurship of students, in accordance with the spirit of relevant national policies, the University invested a large amount of money to start the construction of College Students' practical training, employment and entrepreneurship incubation base (Oriental cultural and creative industry base) in April 2009. The goal is to build an education and training base for art creative talents, as well as the research, production, production and marketing of animation derivatives, tourist souvenirs and arts and crafts Sales base. The base was listed as one of the 30 major cultural industry projects in the 12th Five Year Plan by Hebei provincial government, and included in one of the three "100" key service enterprises of Hebei provincial government. It was rated as the key cultural industry demonstration base by the Provincial Department of culture, the "top 10 cultural industry projects of Hebei Province" by the Publicity Department of the provincial Party committee, and was listed in the first batch of provincial cultural industry demonstration park. At present, more than 500 students have settled in the base and successfully hatched.
