Kunlun College of Qinghai University is an independent college approved by the Ministry of education of the people's Republic of China in 2004. It is also the only ordinary undergraduate independent college in Qinghai Province.

The college is located in the Biotechnology Industrial Park of Xining City, Qinghai Province, covering an area of 173000 m < sup > 2 < / sup >, and a building area of 78000 m < sup > 2 < / sup >. The library has more than 278000 books and e-books. There are 236 full-time teachers, including 133 professors and associate professors, and 104 teachers with doctor's and master's degrees.

We have established the system of working and learning, actively explored the reform of "3 + 1" talent training mode; closely focused on the training goal of applied talents, vigorously strengthened practical teaching; opened "Metalworking Practice" course for the whole college students to cultivate practical ability; took the lead in implementing the "interactive" College English teaching reform pilot in Qinghai Province; persisted in teaching students in accordance with their aptitude, and carried out the "College English teaching reform" English and advanced mathematics are graded teaching.
