(1) analgesic effect
The main trunk, branch, leaf and whole plant of this plant were extracted with water, and the injection was prepared by alcohol precipitation method. The writhing reaction of mice and hot plate test showed that the injection had obvious analgesic effect, and the analgesic duration was longer than that of morphine.
② Sedative effect
The injection can inhibit the spontaneous activity of mice and reduce the motor excitability of caffeine, but can not prolong the spinal reflex of toad.
③ The antispasmodic effect can inhibit the contraction of uterus induced by acetylcholine and pituitrin.
[toxicity] no serious toxicity was observed in mice when the dosage was 530 times of human dosage, indicating that the safety range of the preparation was wide.
[function indications] for axillary carbuncle, testicular enlargement, dysmenorrhea.
[usage and dosage] oral administration: decoct soup, 3-5 yuan, or soak in wine.
[prescription selection] ① for axillary carbuncle: one or two dried fake litchi root bark (decomboli, chopped), two or three Liang brown sugar, half a jin of Shaojiu. Bottling, blanching and soaking in warm soup for one hour, remove and clarify. Take three Liang each time before three meals a day. It can be increased or decreased as appropriate until the patient recovers. Avoid eating sour, spicy and mustard. (records of yam planting in Tianmu, Zhejiang)

[clinical application] analgesic
The root, stem and leaf of pseudolitchi were made into various dosage forms for application. Decoction: the decoction is 1000 ml made of 900 g crude medicine, 10-20 ml for adults each time. Capsule: 0.15-0.25g powder per capsule, 6-8 capsules per time. Injection: 0.25 g / ml, intramuscular injection 2-4 ml each time. 126 cases of postoperative wound pain, rheumatoid arthritis, bone and joint injury, biliary Ascaris lumbricoides, vasculitis and fracture were observed. The results showed that 52 cases had complete pain relief within 30 minutes, and the efficacy was maintained for more than 2 hours; 53 cases had significantly reduced or improved pain within 30 minutes; 21 cases had no analgesic effect after more than 30 minutes. Side effects: a few patients had mild dizziness, nausea or sweating, no other adverse reactions.
In addition, 60 cases of dysmenorrhea were treated with wild papaya injection. The results showed that 26 cases were markedly effective (pain disappeared or relieved within 30 minutes after medication), 20 cases were improved (pain relieved within 30 minutes after medication), and 14 cases were ineffective. The total effective rate was 76.7%. Preliminary observation showed that the analgesic effect on secondary dysmenorrhea with inflammation was poor, and the analgesic effect on acute dysmenorrhea was better than that on chronic, persistent or mild dysmenorrhea. Some patients have a certain sedative effect at the same time of analgesia. Usage: intramuscular injection of wild papaya 2ml (including 10g crude drug) before or during menstruation.
