Pseudoaquilegia

[plant morphology] pseudoaquilegia
Perennial herbs. The rhizome is long, and the upper part is densely clumped with persistent petioles. The leaves are mostly basal, 2-whorled and 3-compound, glabrous; the leaflets are deeply lobed, and the lobules are oblate; the petiole is 2.5-11 cm long, and the flower stem is 3-18 cm high; the bract is 2, lanceolate, 0.3-3.3 cm below the flower; the flower is single terminal, 2.8-5 cm in diameter; the sepal is 5, Violine or light purplish red, obovate, 1.4-2.5 cm long; the petal is 5, yellow, narrowly obovate, about 5 mm long M; stamens numerous; staminodes absent; carpels 5-7. Follicles erect, 0.9-1.2 cm long, reticulate veined.
Most of them grow on the stony slopes or cliffs of high mountains. Distributed in Tibet, Yunnan, Sichuan, Qinghai, Gansu and other places.
