[source] it is the root and seed of Artemisia selengensis.
[plant morphology] Artemisia selengensis
Perennial herbs. The tuberous root is thick and the rhizome is short. Single leaf basal, big head pinnate, like radish leaf. After the first flower leaves, flowers large, single on the stem, purple red, slightly lip shaped. Capsule, dehiscent at maturity; seeds winged.
Born in Xiangyang hillside, roadside, field side.
[collection] dig roots from July to September and harvest mature seeds from March to September.
[nature and taste] warm in nature, sweet and light in taste.
[function indications] nourishing and strengthening. Treatment of postpartum milk less, long illness, weakness, dizziness, anemia.
