Perennial erect herbs, 15-50 cm high. The tuberous roots are spindle shaped. Stems weak, sparsely brown villous and grayish white pubescent. Leaf blade oblong lanceolate to linear, 2.5-6 cm long, 0.5-1.2 cm wide, apex acute, base nearly round or heart-shaped; upper green, with scattered long hairs, lower pink green, with gray white stellate hairs, midvein with rusty sparse hairs; stipules linear, 2-6 mm long. Raceme axillary, peduncle 4-10 mm long, with 1-2 flowers; bracts linear lanceolate; calyx campanulate, covered with brown yellow villous and gray white pubescent, calyx teeth 5, nearly equal length; corolla pale yellow, 6-7 mm long, petal ovate, upper part with short hairs, base with two ears and short claws, wing and keel petals outside, slightly hairy along the top: stamen 10, 2-body; pistil 1 Ovary densely covered with white hirsute, sessile, ovule 2; style linear, stigma capitate. It grows on sunny hillside, grass slope, dry mountain top and grassland. Distributed in Guangdong, Guangxi, Yunnan, Guizhou and other places.
