Perennial twining herbs. The tuberous root is fleshy and thick, with two tubers on the surface. Contains milk. The stem and branch are thick, and the diameter can reach 3 mm. Single leaf alternate, lanceolate, 5.5-8.5 cm long, 1.4-2.2 cm wide, apex acuminate, base cuneate, entire, glabrous on both sides; petiole 3-5 mm long, flowers solitary in axils, pedicel 5-14 cm long, twining; corolla pale bell shaped, blue purple, 3-6 cm in diameter; petals 6, narrowly elliptic, 4.5 cm long; stamens 5. Capsule obovate, 18-24 mm long, after ripening, ventricular. Seeds numerous, subovate, light brown.
It grows on the hillside and under the shrubbery. It is distributed in Yunnan, Guizhou and other places.
