The body is small, about 1 cm long, covered with villi, with black or grayish yellow stripes on the back. There are 4 pairs of monocular eyes, which are located in the front of the dorsal side of the head and chest, with 2,2,4 in 3 rows, and the 2 monocular eyes in the first row are the largest. The head and thorax are tetragonal with 6 pairs of appendages. The first pair is claw shaped with venomous glands inside. The second pair is foot whiskers, such as antennae. The male terminal segment is enlarged. The other four pairs are walking feet, thick and short, with two claws at the end of tarsus. The abdomen is narrow. There are genital foramen and genital plates in the anterior abdomen. There are verrucous spindles at the end of the abdomen. The spindles are connected with the glands, which can secrete mucilage and draw silk.
They live alone. Although can draw silk, but not net, daytime activities, common in windows, walls and other places. Good at jumping and catching flies.
