[plant morphology] Mongolian radish
Perennial herbs, 20-60 cm high, stem erect, smooth or short hairy. The root leaves are ovate elliptic, oblong, elliptic lanceolate or ovate lanceolate, with long stalks, entire or notched sharp teeth, sometimes with large head feathering, and densely short hairs below; the stem leaves are deeply pinnate, and the lobes are linear. Inflorescence solitary at the top of branch, about 3 cm in diameter, blue; involucre linear; outer flower lip 2-lobed, lower lip lobes longer, central flower tube 5-lobed. Achenes, linear.
Born on hillside and grassland. It is distributed in Inner Mongolia and Northeast China.
