Evergreen shrub, 2-3m high. Leaves alternate, elliptic to oblong, 7-18 cm long and 3-6.5 cm wide, entire, apex caudate acuminate, base long cuneate, dorsal convoluted, reticulate veins distinctly convex on both sides, leathery; petiole 5-10 mm long.
