[source] it is the tuberous root of Aconitum gongbuense (Ranunculaceae).
[plant morphology] Aconitum gongbuense
Herbs perennial, ca. 90 cm tall. The root of tuber is obconic. Stems appressed pubescent. Leaves alternate, petiolate, palmately divided, lobes subpinnately lobed, or coarsely toothed, green above, with a few short hairs, pale green below, subglabrous. Raceme long, with many flowers; bracteoles 2, sublinear, above the middle of peduncle; sepals 5, petaloid, yellowish green, upper petal helmet shaped.
It grows in the edge of mountain forest and shrubs. Distributed in Tibet and other places.
[collection] from September to October, dig roots, remove fibrous roots, wash them, slice them and dry them in the sun.
