[plant morphology] Selaginella vinifera
Perennial herbs. The main stem is creeping on the ground, with many branches, rooting at the base of each branch, fine and delicate. The vegetative leaves are dimorphic, herbaceous, with two rows of dorsal ventral leaves. The ventral leaves (middle leaves) point to the top of the staff. They are long ovate, sharp or acuminate. The dorsal leaves (lateral leaves) are flat on both sides, ovate lanceolate, obtuse, with asymmetric heart-shaped base, white margin and ciliary teeth. Sporangium spikes on top of branchlets; sporophylls ovate triangular, long acuminate, margin denticulate, sporangium round. The spores are dimorphic.
It grows on limestone under forest or wet stone in mountain area. Distributed in Shandong, Fujian, Guangdong, Guangxi, Guizhou, Yunnan, Tibet, Sichuan, Hunan, Shaanxi, Henan, Hebei and other places
