Herbs perennial, ca. 33 cm tall. The roots are tufted, about 10-12 cm long. Stems tufted, oblique or suberect, square, densely white woolly. Single leaf opposite; ovate to triangular, broadly ovate, 8-14 mm long, 6-12 mm wide, apex acuminate, base obtuse or nearly truncate, margin with obtuse teeth; upper surface wrinkled, both sides covered with white woolly hairs, lower surface more; petiole 3.3 mm long. The cyme is attached to the upper part of the stem; there is a pair of ovate bracts under the inflorescence, and there are more than ten flowers in each round; the flower is sessile, and there is a narrow linear bract at the base, about 7 mm long, hairy; the Corolla is 2-lipped, reddish purple, the corolla tube is straight, the upper lip is erect, and the lower lip is extended, far beyond the calyx. Nutlets are smooth. It blooms in summer.
Born in wasteland, roadside. Distributed in Yunnan, Sichuan, Guizhou and other places.
