Climbing shrubs. Stem densely covered with bristles and long brown hairs. Single leaf alternate, slightly round, 8-13 cm long, 6.5-13 cm wide, palmately 5-lobed, lobes broadly lanceolate, apex acute, base heart-shaped, margin irregularly serrated, upper smooth glabrous, lower densely hairy along the vein; petiole 6-10 cm long, densely hairy with fine prickles; stipules pinnate. Several flowers clustered in leaf axils, sessile; calyx 5-lobed, lobes lanceolate; outside hairy; petals 5, pale yellow; stamens more applied, separated; pistils many. The aggregate fruit is globose and red. The flowering period is from May to June.
Born on the sunny slope of low mountain area. It is distributed in Sichuan and Guizhou.
