[plant morphology] wushuige
Perennial herbs. Stems scattered or more prostrate, sometimes as long as 90 cm, glabrous or more or less sparsely hairy. Leaves with short petiole, pancreatic, mostly alternate, or sometimes opposite, ovate to ovate lanceolate, 1.5-3.5 cm long, apex short, base rounded or obtuse, 3 main veins, margin entire, both sides rough and thinly sparse hairy. Flowers small, 4-numbered, axillary; mixed male and female flowers: male flowers pale green or purple, calyx 4-lobed, stamens white, prominent; female calyx less than 2 mm in length at fruiting time, ribbed, hairy. Achenes ovate and pointed, black, glossy. The flowering period is summer and moon.
Born in the open field, roadside. Distributed in Guangdong, Guangxi, Fujian, Hubei, Taiwan and other places.
[collection] it can be harvested all year round and dried in the sun.
[medicinal material] it is a whole grass with dry roots, with fine roots, short main stem, scattered branches, sparse hair and reddish brown. Leaves membranous and brittle, fragile, petiole slender. The air is weak and the taste is light.
