[plant morphology] Solanum decacalyx
Herbs annual or biennial. Stem erect, branched, 60-100 cm high, base lignified, all densely pilose, with young branches as the most. Leaf blade ovate, 5-10 cm long, 3-6 cm wide, apex acuminate, base protruding to stalk, entire, both sides sparsely pilose. Flowers single 1 or 2-6, gathered in leaf axils, 4-8 mm long, somewhat recurved, hairy; calyx short, broad campanulate, 10 linear cleft teeth, hairy; corolla white, about 8 mm in diameter, 5-lobed to middle; stamens 5, anthers apically lobed; ovary 2-locular. Berry globose, 6-8 mm in diam., red, smooth, glabrous. The flowering period is summer and autumn.
Born in the wilderness. Distributed in Guangdong, Guizhou and other places.
