Thick woody vines, 10 meters long, all densely covered with yellow villi, young branches with milk. Cyme terminal or false axillary, flowers large, white or light red; calyx 5-lobed, with a round of glands on the inner surface; corolla high pedunculate, throat bald, lobes wide, arranged in left rotation; stamens attached to the top of the crown tube, anthers arrowhead shaped, elongated, glued and close to stigma, subventricular with short distance. Follicles opposite, about 20 cm long, straight and hard, with many seeds and tufts at the top.
It grows in the valley, dense forest and wet place. It is distributed in Yunnan and other places.
