Small shrubs, up to 1-2 m high. Branches slightly inclined or spreading, pubescent. 3 compound leaves, leaflets lanceolate rectangular, 2-3 cm long, 0.7-1 cm wide, apex blunt, with short tip, base round, above glabrous; below densely pubescent; stipules 2, linear, apical leaflets slightly larger than the lateral leaflets. Raceme axillary, shorter than leaves, pedicel jointless; apetalous flowers clustered in the axils of lower branches, bracteoles strip; calyx shallow cup-shaped, calyx teeth 5, lanceolate, almost as long as petals, white pilose; corolla yellow green, flag petal rectangular, about 1 cm long, wing petals shorter, keel petals longer than wing petals; ovary hairy. Pods obovate rectangular, ca. 4 mm long, ca. 2. 5 mm wide, white pilose. The flowering period is from July to August. The fruit period is from August to October.
It is distributed in Liaoning, Jilin, Shaanxi, Inner Mongolia, Ningxia, Gansu, Yunnan and other places.
