[source] the tender branches and leaves of Saxifragaceae plant huangchangshan. See "Changshan" for plant morphology.

[herbal medicine] dry twigs, cylindrical, thin and weak, leaves shrunken, withered brown or brown green, complete leaves elliptic, broadly lanceolate or oblong obovate, apex pointed, margin serrate, base cuneate, smooth and glabrous. It is light and thin, brittle and fragile. It has a special stuffy smell and a slightly bitter taste. It is better to have no stem, big leaves and strong taste.
It is mainly produced in Sichuan, Guizhou and Hunan. In addition, it is also produced in Hubei and Guangxi.
