Shijincao

[plant morphology] cold water flower of Southwest China
Short perennial herbs. Stem fleshy, slender, 5.5-50 cm high, branched or unbranched, green or purple. Leaves opposite, narrowly ovate or ovate, 3-12 cm long, 1.5-3 cm wide, apex acuminate or long acuminate, base round, slightly oblique, entire or occasionally shallow wavy, upper stalactites densely, narrowly strip, basal veins 3; petiole 0.5-6.5 cm long. Dioecious, sparsely monoecious, inflorescence pedicellate; male perianth segments 4, stamens 4; female perianth segments 3, unequal in size, stigma capitate. Achenes oblate ovate, verrucose.
It grows in wet places in the mountains or on rocks under the forest. Distributed in Yunnan, Guizhou, Guangxi, Hubei and other places.
