[plant morphology] Cypripedium fan
Perennial herbs. The rhizome is slender and creeping, and the nodes are clustered with fibrous roots. Stem simple, 20-40 cm high, villous, base with a few sheath like leaves. Leaves 2, stem tip, slightly paired, fan-shaped to fan-shaped, quadrangular, front edge wavy, up to 16 cm long, 22 cm wide, veins fan-shaped. The flower is large, single at the top of the pedicel; the pedicel is drawn out from the axils of the leaves, 10-15 cm long; the petals are open, yellowish green, the lip is extra large, saccate, with purple spots. Capsule beaked, ca. 5 cm, pilose. Seeds minute, numerous. The flowering period is May.
Born in the wild. It is distributed in Shaanxi, Sichuan, Hubei and South China.

It is astringent, pungent, flat and poisonous.
Functions and indications: dispelling wind and detoxification, regulating qi and relieving pain, regulating menstruation and activating blood circulation, and stopping malaria. Treatment of skin pruritus, nameless swelling virus, vivax malaria, irregular menstruation, strain.
[taboo] hot wine and hot rice are forbidden for half a day after oral administration.
