Deciduous small trees, about 5 m high. The bark is smooth and the twigs have yellow hairs. Leaves alternate, mostly clustered in branches; petioles 8-14 cm long, with yellow hairs, tender leaves reddish; leaves broad ovate, 12-18 cm long, 13-16 cm wide, apex caudate, base round or truncate, with a pair of glands, edge microwave, scattered yellow gland spots below. Raceme terminal. Capsule elliptic, with yellow hairs; seeds black, semicircular.
Born in mixed forest.
