[collection] the immature fruit branches were picked from October to November, and the branches were removed and dried in the sun.
[herbal medicine] the dried and tender fruits are enclosed in the perianth of the persistent flowers, all of which are in an inverted cone shape. The outer perianth is cup-shaped, 6-11 mm long, the top is inflated, the edge is 6-lobed, the surface is dark brown, wrinkled, and the base sometimes has a fruit stalk. After peeling off the persistent calyx, we can see the immature fruit, which is oblate, 3-4 mm in diameter, 2 mm thick, yellowish brown and glossy. There is a slightly convex style residue in the middle of the top, a radial wrinkle in the bottom, and a convex ovary stalk in the center. It is soft and easy to crush. It is fragrant and slightly sweet. The meat is thick and fragrant.
