Perennial herbs, 5-50 cm high, all smooth glabrous, stout rhizomes, creeping, cylindrical. Leaves basal, petiolate, succulent, glossy, round or broadly ovate, 5-35 cm long and 3-30 cm wide, base suborbicular or occasionally slightly cuneate, margin with obtuse teeth or inconspicuous teeth, almost entire, veins distinct. Panicle terminal, with many flowers; petals 5, light red; stamens 10; ovary base 2-locular, apical 1-locular, ovule numerous, capsule 2-valved.

It grows on the moist hanging rock. It is distributed in Shaanxi and other places.
