[plant morphology] Impatiens balsamina

Annual herbs, about 33 cm high. Stem fleshy, green, glabrous. Erect, many branched, branchlets base expanded into nodes. Leaves alternate, mostly gathered at the top of branches, oval or ovate, apex short pointed, base wedge-shaped, edge with light serrated, dark green above, gray white below, main vein and lateral vein obvious. Pedicel from leaf axil, thin and drooping, with general axis, 3-4cm long, 2-3 flowers in umbelliform arrangement; yellow flowers with long distance, curved into spiral shape; stamen 5, filaments short and flat, drug combination; ovary superior, 5-locular, ovule majority. The germinating fruit is long and narrow, both ends acuminate, glabrous. It blooms in summer.

Most of them live near the water.
