[source] it is the leaf of Gleditsia sinensis. See "Hemeng" for plant morphology.

It is mainly used in the treatment of wound carbuncle.

[usage and dosage] oral administration: mash juice, 2-3 Liang. External use: grind, mix and apply or mash.

[selection] ① treatment of traumatic bleeding: pestle or crush the fresh leaves to apply on the affected area. (Jiangxi folk herbal medicine)

② Treatment of snake bite and blindfold: combine three liang of fresh leaves, mash them, add water, and take them with juice. (Jiangxi folk herbal medicine)

③ Treatment of carbuncle: he Meng Gan Ye Yan Mo, tune tea, apply the affected area. (Fujian Chinese herbal medicine)
