[plant morphology] pisi
Deciduous trees or shrubs, up to 9 meters high. Bark gray black; branchlets smooth; winter buds hairy. Single leaf alternate, or clustered on short branches, broadly ovate or ovate, 4-8 cm long, 3.3-5.5 cm wide, apex short and acute, base rounded to broadly cuneate, margin with thin and blunt serrations, both sides glabrous; petiole 2-4 cm long. Corymbose is racemose, with 6-12 flowers, 2-2.5cm in diameter; pedicel is 1.5-3cm long; sepals 5, lanceolate, slightly shorter than calyx tube), glabrous on the outside and sparse hairs on the inside; petals 5, oval, white, with short claws; stamens 20; styles 2, sparse 3. The pear fruit is spherical, about 1-2 cm in diameter, dark brown, spotted, calyx lobes falling off, and the fruit stalk is slender. The seeds are dark brown. The flowering period is April. The fruiting period is September.
It is distributed in Guangdong, Jiangxi, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Shandong, Henan, Shaanxi, Gansu and other places.
