[plant morphology] nervosa
Perennial herbs. Stem erect, cylindrical, 30-50 cm high, base woody, nodes slightly expanded, slightly purplish black. Leaves opposite; petiole short; leaves oblong lanceolate or ovate elliptic, 4-12 cm long, 1.5-4 cm wide, apex acuminate, base broadly cuneate, entire, green above, pink green below, veins raised below, lateral veins 4 pairs of arc extension; stipules connected into a cup, with linear cleft teeth. Inflorescence axillary, peduncle 0.5-2.5 cm long; florets dark purple. Capsule globose.
It grows in grass on hillside and roadside. It is distributed in Guangdong, Guangxi and Yunnan.
[collection] it can be collected all year round, washed, cut into sections, dried or fresh.
[flavor] pungent, slightly bitter, warm.
Functions and indications: clearing away heat and dampness, anti inflammation and bone grafting. Treat malaria, hepatitis, rheumatism, bone pain, conjunctivitis.
[usage and dosage] oral administration: decoct soup, 3-5 yuan; or soak in wine. Topical use: mash juice for eye.
[selection] 1. To treat malaria: five dollars for Herba Sarcandrae, four dollars for dove station and five dollars for Echinochloa crusgalli. Take it in water.
② Treatment of hepatitis: dry heijiecao three to five money. Take it in water.
③ Cure rheumatism bone pain: black section grass root four money, four can grass five money, nine cattle one or two. Wine making clothes. Take 10 ml each time, twice a day.
④ Treatment of conjunctivitis: fresh Herba Sarcandrae, wash, mash juice point eye.
