[plant morphology] Spiraea
Erect shrub, 1-2m high. Stem cylindrical, upper gray green, near base brown yellow, surface smooth hard. Leaves alternate, oblong lanceolate to lanceolate, 4-8 cm long and 1-2.5 cm wide, apex acute or acuminate, margin densely serrate or doubly serrate, glabrous on both sides. Inflorescence is oblong or pyramidal panicle, attached to the top of the current year's long leafy branches, 6-13 cm long, pubescent; pollen red, 5-7 mm in diameter; calyx tube cup-shaped, sepals 5; petals 5; stamens numerous; carpel 5, superior, separated, 1-locular, with 2 ovules. Follicles erect, glabrous or pubescent along ventral suture.
It grows in mountain grass, river bank, gully, etc. Distributed in Heilongjiang, Jilin, Liaoning, Inner Mongolia, Hebei and other places.
