Herbs perennial, dwarf, ca. 4 cm tall. The stem base is much branched and clumped, with white powder on the stem, alternate leaves, petiolate, palmately divided, and long bristles on the edge of lobes. Flowers solitary, leaf axils or branch ends yellow; petals 4, lip shaped, spurred; sepals 2; stamens 6. Capsule elliptic, divided into 2 petals. The seed has appendages.
It was born in the tidal wetland beside the valley. Distributed in Tibet and other places.
[collection] harvest from July to September.
Cold in nature and bitter in taste.
[function indications] antipyretic and analgesic. Treatment of gastritis, ulcer disease, dysentery, sciatica.
[usage and dosage] oral administration: decoction, 1-2 yuan.
