[source] it is the fruit of Mahonia latifolia, Mahonia tenuifolia or Mahonia South China. Please refer to the "ten Mahonia leaves" for plant morphology.
[collection] in June, the fruits were picked and dried in the sun. The fruits were rubbed down to remove the impurities, and then dried until the feet were dry.
[medicinal material] the dried fruit is oval in shape, 0.6-0.8 cm in diameter, blue black, white powdery on the surface, shrunken, with several brown seeds inside.
Made in Zhejiang.
The fruits of ileaceae plant Lycium chinense were used as Mahonia seeds in Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces.
Functions and indications: clearing heat and regulating dampness. It can treat hot tide, bone steaming, diarrhea, collapse and drenching.
