Twining grass Liana. Tendrils in leaf axils. The leaves are simple, alternate, swallow tailed, cup-shaped, two lobed. The lobes are triangular in length, 5-10 cm in length and 5-8 cm in width. There is a small tip between the two lobes, with 5 main veins. The petiole has 2 glands near the base. Cyme axillary; pedicel hairy; calyx lobes 5, ovate oblong, outside few hairless; petals 5, homomorphic with calyx; accessory corolla composed of many filiform lobes; stamens 5; ovary ovate, style 3. Berry globose; seeds with aril.
Born in the mountain valley crevice, roadside. Distributed in Yunnan, Guizhou, Guangxi, Sichuan and other places.
