[plant morphology] perennial herb. Leaves lanceolate, apex with long tail tip, glabrous on both sides except ciliate; without petiole. The leaves are glabrous at the beginning, glabrous at the end, cylindrical spike; oval bracts; calyx tube hairy; corolla white or yellowish; labellum elliptic, slightly concave, yellowish; midvein with orange red band with purple edge; stamen 1; ovary villous. The flowering period is from February to May and the fruiting period is from June to August.
It grows in shady and wet places in the valley, and is cultivated in the shade of trees in China. It is cultivated in Hainan, Yunnan and Guangxi. It is native to Indonesia.
