[plant morphology] Ampelopsis japonica

Liana. The stem has tendrils, opposite to the leaves. Roots Beaded fusiform. Leaves alternate, palmately compound; 5 leaflets, elliptic lanceolate, pointed at both ends, margin coarsely serrated. The flower is cyme, light yellow green. The berry is small with 1-4 seeds.

Born on steep slopes.
