[source] it is the whole plant of Salicornia lanceolata.
[plant morphology] Erigeron spinosa
Herbs annual, up to 1 m tall. Branchlets hard, spreading, green, usually with white green stripes, glabrous or with very short papillary setae. Leaves alternate, filiform cylindrical, fleshy, 1.5-4 cm long, 1-2 mm wide, enlarged near base, apex spinous, acute, sessile, green. Flowers bisexual, axillary, usually forming spikes on each branch; bracts 2, conical or ovate, apex apiculate; perianth segments 5, conical or apical ovate, erect, imbricate; stamens 5; stigmas long filiform, 2-dichotomous. The fruit is spherical, pink, truncate at the top and enclosed in the perianth with wings. The flowering period is from July to September. The fruit period is from September to October.
It grows in sandy soil, sand dune, grassland and rocky hillside. Distributed in Jilin, Liaoning, Heilongjiang, Inner Mongolia and other places.
[collection] it is cut and dried in summer.
[chemical composition] it contains betaine, succinic acid, oxalic acid and polysaccharide composed of arabinose, galactose, rhamnose, xylose, galacturonic acid and amino sugar.
[pharmacological action] the blood pressure of anesthetized animals was significantly decreased by intravenous injection of cisapone decoction, water extract and alcohol extract, but there was no effect on the heart rate and amplitude of anesthetized cats. In the period of flowering and Fruiting of tender leaves, all the collectors showed hypotensive effect. Betaine has mild hypotensive effect on anesthetized animals, but it has no effect on hypertensive dogs. A saponin was isolated by electroanalysis and chromatography, which can reduce the blood pressure of anesthetized dogs and hypertensive rats. However, the chromatographic separation and chemical reaction of zengershou (trade name "zengershou") could not confirm the presence of hyacine and salsadine, and the antihypertensive effect was suspicious. No poisoning was found for one week.
In most cases, the decoction and ethanol extract of the tender seedlings of Salsola fimbriata collected in Zhengzhou, Henan Province (collected in April) increased the blood pressure of the animals, while the old Salsola made the blood pressure of most animals decrease.
Bitter and cool.
[Guijing] into the liver and kidney channels.
[function indications] liver calming and blood pressure lowering.
[usage and dosage] oral administration: decoct soup, 0.5-1 Liang; or scald it with water for cooking.
