Baoan Costume
There is no fundamental difference between Baoan people's clothing and the local Hui and Dongxiang People. Men usually wear white hats, white shirts, black shoulders, blue or gray trousers; when visiting relatives and friends or going out, they often wear Zhongshan suits or military casual clothes. Unmarried women usually wear bright colored coats and thin, soft and transparent green silk covers; married young women and middle-aged women usually wear white sanitary caps and black covers when they go out; elderly women often wear dark clothes and white covers.
Men's clothing
Bao'an men usually like to wear white or black "hat", white shirt inside and green cloth vest outside; on festive occasions, they wear hat, black Lapel robe, colorful belt, waist knife, and high-rise cattle leather boots, which are majestic, elegant and full of national characteristics. This kind of robe is very similar to the "Tibetan Robe", but slightly shorter than the "Tibetan Robe", decorated with different widths and different colors of "lace". The length of the belt is generally three circles around the waist, and it also has to show a foot of sweat, which is about 12 feet to 15 feet long. Winter wear Lapel fur coat, more brown.
Women's clothing
Women usually wear purplish red or dark green blouses, coats with "cantilevers", blue or black homespun trousers, some wear knee length robes, and sleeves and trouser rims are also "trimmed" in different colors; in festive festivals, Baoan women like to wear colorful clothes on their upper body, while most of them wear scarlet trousers on their lower body. Women also like to wear headsets. Generally, married women like to wear round white caps and black "headsets". Girls wear green headsets, while old women wear white ones.
Early Baoan nationality
Living next to the Mongols, the costumes are basically the same as the Mongols. In winter, men and women usually wear long fur robes and various kinds of fur hats, while in summer and autumn, they wear jacket and trumpet shaped cap made of white wool felt. Both men and women wear colorful silk belts with small decorations.
