Jiang rucao
Jiang rucao (1877-1954) was born in Nanxun, Wuxing (now Huzhou), with the name of Meng Ping and the name of Le'an. Qing Guangxu 29 years (1903) Ju Ren. He used to be a doctor in the general affairs department of the University. He participated in the revolution of 1911, served as the first director of salt administration of Zhejiang military government and chairman of Zhejiang railway company, and later studied industry.

The Jiang family is a family of Wu Xing's book collectors, including Zhuan library and Miyun library. Among them, Miyun library, Lu Xinyuan's song library, Liu Chenggan's JIAYE hall and Zhang Junheng's Shiyuan are known as the four major libraries in Wu Xing. His grandfather Jiang Weipei, his uncle Jiang Jiqing and his father Jiang Shuzhen are all famous in collecting books. You can identify the authenticity of ancient books by learning from your family. He has been an official in Beijing and a guest in Shanghai for a long time. He contacted with Cao Yuanzhong, Shen Zengzhi, Wang Guowei, Zhang Yuanji, Fu Zengxiang, Luo Zhenyu and other famous books collectors, and visited many books collected by collectors, such as "Tianyige" and "Yiyun bookstore". At the end of the Qing Dynasty and the beginning of the Republic of China, the famous book collectors, such as Ningbo fan, Hangzhou Wang, Taizhou Liu, Jingxian Hong, Guiyang Chen and so on, came out and were mostly purchased by Jiang rucao. We have made more efforts to search and purchase the posthumous documents collected by our ancestors. All the old books of Ru Gu Jing she, Qiu Shi Zhai and Tu Ji have been purchased at a high price. Jiancang library is called "Chuanshu hall". Shen Zengzhi called it "demon book" and named its library "Miyun building". There are 83 old periodicals in Song Dynasty, 102 in Yuan Dynasty and 863 in Ming Dynasty. What can be regarded as the treasure of zhenku is the Song Dynasty's unique edition of Cao Chuang Yun Yu, which was bought at a high price of 1500 yuan. Wang Guowei of Haining was invited to compile 20 volumes (unpublished) of the book collection of Miyun building. There are more than 5000 books in the collection and 2667 rare books, including 563 song edition books, 2097 yuan edition books, 6753 Ming edition books, 3808 transcripts and 20 Yongle Dadian books. In addition, there are 12 volumes and 7 volumes of chuanshutang rare books bibliography, and Qu Fengqi has compiled the collection and postscript of miyunlou library. Its book collection includes "mengping Jiancang", "Miyun building", "Gongyang shuqijuan house", etc. As a result of the war and the failure of business, the collection of books was pawned to Zhejiang Industrial Bank, which was purchased by Pan Zongzhou, Liu Tizhi, Zheng Zhenduo and others. Most of them belonged to the commercial press "Hanfen tower". Most of the school books collected in Zhang Yuanji's Hanfen tower are collected by Jiang family. In addition, Ming books are sold in Beijing Library, and more than 50000 books are sold in Zhonghua Book Company library.

Jiang family is a famous family in Nanxun. My grandfather, Jiang weiqi, was a master of seal script and ci writing. He was also good at drawing and writing. There are 21 kinds of rare books of Song Dynasty, 37 kinds of Yuan Dynasty, 43 kinds of Ming Dynasty, six original volumes of Yongle Dadian, 195 kinds of banknotes and 146 kinds of lost books. His father, Jiang xishen, was able to write poetry at the age of seven and finished thirteen classics at the age of thirteen. He raised a person in 1879 and expanded his ancestral collection of books. Jiang was Liu Jinzao's in laws, and his father, Jiang xishen, Zhang Jian and Tang Shouqian, were close friends. Therefore, when Tang Shouqian and Liu Jinzao were chief and vice premier of Zhejiang railway company, Jiang ruzao was a director. At the beginning of the restoration of China, when Tang Shouqian became the governor of Zhejiang Province, he became the first director of the salt administration of Zhejiang Province. Later, he went to Nantong to help Zhang Jian set up an industry and became his right-hand assistant. Jiang rucao has been living in Shanghai for a long time, and his footprints have covered all the major cities in the north and south of the river. He inherited his family studies and was able to identify the authenticity of ancient books. He collected them more widely. During the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China, there were books scattered all over the country, such as the fan family in Ningbo, the Wang family in Hangzhou, the Liu family in Taizhou, the Hong family in Jingxian, and the Chen family in Guiyang. Most of the ancient books scattered by his ancestors were purchased by Jiang rucao, especially the books scattered by his ancestors. He set up a chuanshutang Library in Nanxun to compile them Chuanshutang bibliography contains 83 rare editions of Song Dynasty, 102 editions of Yuan Dynasty and 863 editions of Ming Dynasty. Six volumes of Cao Chuang Yun Yu, a single edition of Song Dynasty, were found with 1500 silver yuan. The book is named "Mi Jia Lou", which collects three generations of books, no less than Lu Xinyuan's "Bai Bai Song Lou". There are 15 volumes of Shuo Wen Jie Zi collate Ji and three volumes of Qiu Shi Zhai Za Shu, but there are no definite editions, such as Tang fan Zhen Kao and Shuijing Zhu Bei Mu Kao. Jiang ruzao was not well off in his later years and transferred his books to others one after another, but most of them were acquired by Dongfang Library of Shanghai Commercial Press and became the collection of Hanfen house. On January 28, 1932, the Songhu Anti Japanese war broke out in Shanghai, and Zhabei Oriental library was bombed and burned by enemy planes. Fortunately, the rare books, including those originally collected by Jiang rucao, had been moved to a safe area, so they were still intact. After liberation, they were collected by Beijing library. Zhang Yuanji once wrote Hanfen Lou Jinyu Shulu, in which a considerable part of the school edition was collected from the original "Miyun Lou". Jiang rucao died in Shanghai in 1954 at the age of 78. In order to carry forward his ancestors' collection of books and the unpublished will of the book collection of mishaolou, Zi Jiang Zuyi, a professor of Taiwan University, changed his name to the book collection of chuanshutang according to the school copy, which was photocopied and published in Taiwan in 1974.
