Lin Zhichun
Lin Zhichun (1699-1762) was born in Linpu Township, Fujian Province (now Linpu village, Chengmen Town, Cangshan District, Fuzhou City). He was born in 1699.
Zhi Chun is lonely and poor. He was elected in 1723, the first year of Yongzheng. In the eighth year of Yongzheng reign, he was admitted to Zhongshu. In the second year of Emperor Qianlong's reign (1737), he won the second place of Jinshi and was awarded the title of editor of Hanlin Academy. In the third year of Qianlong's reign (1738), he served as an examiners in Shuntian Township, and also as a "compilation of Yitong Zhiguan". In the sixth year of Qianlong (1741), it was compiled for Shuntian County examination by examiners and Chong Wuying hall. It collated the Bureau of economics and history, promoted the Imperial Academy to be a lecturer. In the winter, it supervised Henan Academic politics, changed ancestral halls to run free schools, and rewarded poor students. In the seventh year of Qianlong (1742), he was promoted to youchunfang Youshu son and academician of Hanlin Academy. Qianlong thirteen years (1748), Chengzhi for "jade urn song", Le stone in Chengguang palace wall. In the winter of that year, he went out to study politics in Jiangxi Province, and in the second year he turned to Zuo Tongzheng. In the 15th year of Qianlong reign (1750), the redundant officials were reduced and became deputy envoys. In 1752, he went back to Fuzhou to teach at Aofeng Academy for 8 years. He taught people strictly. Every 15 days, he called his students to sit in the pavilion to show the importance of "standing up and holding a bow"; he also created the school of shelong Gong to write the discussion on banning Witches and ghosts, which was against superstition. Zhi Chun is the author of Qing Pu Wen Ji Shi Ji, RI Zhi Lu, Wen Jian Lu, Xue Yong Shuo, Wu Jing Bian Yi, etc. He died in 1762 at the age of 63.
