Wei Wentong is a fictitious character who appeared in shuotang Quanzhuan. He is the ninth hero of Sui and Tang Dynasties and marshal of Tongguan in Sui Dynasty. He was nicknamed "Huadao Shuai" and "Huadao General of nine provinces". In addition, because he looks like Guan Yu, the famous general of Three Kingdoms, he is also called saiguan Ye. Later, when he attacked Wagang village, he was shot to death by Wang Bo with a hidden arrow.
